Women Motorcycle Riders on the Rise

More women are taking up motorcycle riding in their 40s, 50s and 60s.  April Weavell investigated their motivations and found that riding provides a sense of pride and empowerment, resistance to stereotypes of gender and aging, and a great way to de-stress from busy lives.  Her findings were recently published in the Canadian magazine Motorcycle Mojo.
